Real experiences, real results

I've visited The Athlete's Grid for back and knee injuries. Dr. Rees provided expert care and built me a personalized plan to get me back to all my regular activities. My mobility and strength have improved greatly since working with him. The clinic itself is a great environment as well.

Jake Dickey, Toronto

I sprained my ankle and have been seeing Dr. Rees. He surpassed my expectations and not only helped me get back to activity faster, but developed a plan to help improve strength and range of motion to prevent future injury to my ankle and other areas that I was compensating for. Hours are also great and very accommodating team. Highly recommend!

Derek Peters, Toronto

I have had a chronic spine issue (part of which was congenital) for 15 years. My situation was pretty hopeless. I saw Austin, who took a very common sense approach. I honestly thought that pain was just going to be a part of my daily life moving forward, but now I am optimistic that I will even be able to return to the sports and activities that I enjoy. I can't recommend Athlete’s Grid and Austin highly enough!!!

After almost a decade of playing professional football, I left the game with several injuries, including an injured shoulder. Dr. Austin Rees has been instrumental in my recovery. His approach is both professional and welcoming, and he truly listens to his patients' needs. Since working with him, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my health. Whether you’re recovering from sports injuries or just looking to get back to your regular activities, I would highly recommend Dr. Rees. He’s helped me regain my mobility and overall well-being.

I highly recommend working with Austin at the Athletes Grid. Coming from a history of lower back injuries over the last 15 years which eventually culminated in a L4/L5 herniated disc 2 years ago. Austin helped change the approach to my recovery. I’ve seen an improvement in my strength and mobility as we continue to work towards widening the threshold of being pain-free. Austin is extremely personable and knowledgable, always helping me understand the connection between an exercise and our overall goal.

Andrew Fleming, Toronto

I was really suffering with lower back and hip pain post-childbirth and returning to exercise. Dr. Rees helped me with mobilization in clinic, and he gave me a plan with achievable goals, and manageable exercises to get me back to exercise. Ever since starting our treatment I have seen huge improvement, including almost immediate relief following our first appointment.

Hannah Martin, Toronto

When I started working with Austin, I had been dealing with a pretty painful and recurring lower back injury. I had worked with several practitioners over the past few years for my back, but I never truly felt that my inputs weren’t taken seriously. Austin, on the other hand, listened to anything and everything I had to say about my injury—no matter how small or irrelevant the detail—and took a collaborative and person-centered approach right from the start. I feel safe in Austin’s hands, and I’m hopeful that soon enough I will be back to lifting some heavy weights, resilient as ever!
